The Start International zcM2000 Electric Tape Dispenser with Multiple Programmable Tape Lengths is ideal for medium to high production of repetitive taping for industrial applications. Users can program three defined lengths and automatically advance and cut tape. It cuts tape lengths from 20mm to 999mm (0.79″-39″). For accepted tape widths and material types, see listing below. It has two operating modes – on demand lengths or consecutive.
The zcM2000 range includes specific models for narrow widths or thin film, flimsy tapes, dispensing two rolls of tape, Kapton tapes, with non-marking rollers, 10-length memory or thin high tack tapes. The Start International zcM2000 Electric Tape Dispenser with Multiple Programmable Tape Lengths has photocell actuated feed and cut, or push-button feed and cut, with a guillotined cut for a straight edge piece of tape. It has LED digital length adjustment and manual override of preset lengths.
Its blades are good for up to 200,000 cuts (dependent on the type of material it is cutting) and it has a steel frame for durability within a flame retardant cabinet made from antistatic composite (auto ignition of 480°C (896°F). It comes with a 3-in-1 core of 25mm (1”), 35mm (1.4”) and 76mm (3”) and has an adjustable pressure roller for various thicknesses of tape. The accuracy of tape length is +/– 1mm (0.04”) (dependent on the type of material).
There are many available accessories which fit this machine, including foot switches, creasers, dual cutting heads, tape core holders, liner removers and reel stands.
